Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when a family enrolls a student in Spanish in 12.
The program
Spanish in 12 is a live, small-group online program of 24 classes across 12 instructional weeks, taught by Andrew Belzer. Each cohort has a maximum of 10 students.
Spanishin12 is supplemental enrichment. It does not award academic credit and does not guarantee grades or test scores. It can supplement a family's homeschool curriculum but does not independently provide accredited school credit.
Enrollment and consent
A place is reserved when payment is completed. The registration and consent form must be completed by the student's parent or legal guardian.
Payment
- Paid in full: one payment of $495.
- Two payments: $250 at enrollment and one additional $250 payment, $500 total.
- Three payments: $170 at enrollment and two additional $170 payments, $510 total.
- Installment plans end automatically after the final scheduled payment.
- Every payment option reserves the same place and includes the complete program.
Minimum enrollment
Each cohort requires a minimum of four students. If a cohort does not reach minimum enrollment, families may transfer to another available cohort or receive a full refund.
Refunds, attendance and make-up
A full refund is available when a parent or guardian withdraws and notifies Spanishin12 before the second class. Missed classes after that point do not qualify for refunds, and no individual make-up classes are guaranteed. See the Refund and Transfer Policy and the Attendance and Make-Up Policy for details.
Technology and conduct
Students need a computer or tablet with reliable internet, a working camera and microphone, and access to Google's online tools. Students are expected to participate respectfully. Course materials are for enrolled families only and may not be redistributed.
